LLipid-C will be soon fully functional as a consulting company with a focus on different aspects of lipids and related compounds, including lipid isolation, lipid analysis, lipid metabolism, and metabolic disorders, with links to the industry and the academic world (KU Leuven). Additionally, advice on (bio)chemical synthesis of lipids and lipid-related enzyme substrates is available, as well as an editing service for scientific papers. 

In the near future, the quantitative analysis of minor lipid intermediates is planned, based on in house knowledge and recipes, backed up with our own organic synthesis facility. Compared to the classical lipid mass measurements, that reflect in fact only end point values, lipid intermediates are more dynamic and informative for diagnosis of disease and metabolic perturbations.

In the meantime, a limited selection of specialty lipids can be offered

As we believe in the power of education, housing for short term stays for researchers is offered.
